Spring HVAC Maintenance Checklist

  • Replace filters
  • Replace belts as needed
  • Lubricate and inspect bearing conditions
  • Start cooling
  • Check refrigerant operating pressures
  • Check economizer operation (if applicable)
  • Visually inspect for refrigerant leaks
  • Check crankcase heater operation (if applicable)
  • Inspect electrical disconnect for proper operation
  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Inspect safety controls
  • Measure volts / amps on motors
  • Blow out condensate drain and clean pan
  • Check supply and return air temperatures

Summer HVAC Maintenance Checklist

  • Replace filters
  • Inspect belt condition
  • Lubricate and inspect bearing conditions
  • Cycle cooling
  • Check refrigerant operating pressures
  • Visually inspect for refrigerant leaks
  • Check crankcase heater operation
  • Clean condensate drain
  • Check supply and return air temperatures

Fall HVAC Maintenance Checklist

  • Replace filters

  • Tighten electrical connections
  • Check economizer operation (if applicable)
  • Clean condensate drain
  • Start heating
  • Inspect heat exchanger (Gas)
  • Inspect adjust ignition and burner assembly (Gas)
  • Check crankcase heater operation
  • Check gas pressures

Winter HVAC Maintenance Checklist

  • Replace filters
  • Inspect belt condition
  • Lubricate and inspect bearing conditions
  • Cycle heating
  • Inspect heat exchanger (Gas)
  • Inspect adjust ignition and burner assembly (Gas)
