What’s the difference between a traditional water heater and a tankless heater?

Traditional hot water tanks can store several gallons of hot water at a time. They are great for accommodating steady, high-demand use, and require a lower upfront cost.

Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters will warm water as it is required. These heaters provide an environmentally-conscious option and offer long-term energy savings. They also take up less space.

How often should I change my furnace filter?

We recommend that you change your air filter every three months. If you are doing a home renovation, and there is increased dust and dirt in the air, you may need to change it more frequently during that period of time.

Do I need an ENERGY STAR rated system?

ENERGY STAR is the mark of high-efficiency products in Canada. ENERGY STAR certified products meet strict technical specifications for energy performance, and are tested and certified. These products save energy without compromising performance.

Typically, an ENERGY STAR certified product is in the top 15 to 30 percent of its class for energy performance. Saving energy saves you money and reduces your impact on the environment.

We do not sell parts to customers. All of our parts must be supplied and installed by our licensed technicians to ensure all codes and standards are met, and warranties are applicable.

Do I really need regular maintenance on my furnace, air conditioner, or water softener?

What is the SEER rating on my air conditioner?

SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is a system for rating the efficiency of cooling equipment. The higher the SEER rating, the less your unit will cost to operate.

Is Therm-All licensed and insured?

Can I keep my existing thermostat?

Depending on the age of your existing thermostat, we may recommend upgrading it to a newer model. The newer models are programmable, they may be two-stage (furnace and air conditioning), and may even work with your wifi. Newer models that communicate directly to your system are more efficient.
